Overview:

A locally owned manufacturing company in Algona, WA is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to support its logistics team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with prior shipping/receiving experience who is comfortable with warehouse operations, ERP systems, and logistics documentation.

You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt and shipment of goods, materials, and components while maintaining compliance with shipping protocols, inventory control procedures, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and package flight and non-flight parts, kits, and materials for shipment. Stage crates, pallets, and shipping materials for outgoing orders. Prepare and verify shipping documents including bills of lading, manifests, and packaging compliance. Load and unload delivery trucks; inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage, and documentation. Log and track materials using computer/MRP systems; input shipping/receiving data accurately. Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound shipments. Assist in cycle counts and support inventory accuracy efforts. Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory materials. Follow company quality procedures, lean initiatives, and safety standards. Support internal audits and continuous improvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor or Warehouse Lead. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of experience

in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role. Familiarity with

ERP/MRP systems

. Ability to read

blueprints

and perform basic math functions. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Solid

computer skills ; ability to navigate and input data into inventory systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and support training initiatives. Forklift and/or order picker certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks as needed. Preferred:

Experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality system procedures (BQMS). Previous experience preparing flight-critical parts or materials.
