About the Role :

In this role, you will:

Coordinate the quality program operations of Ohio's regional long-term care ombudsman programs. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, plans, and quality performance standards for regional programs. Conduct quality reviews of Ombudsman initiatives and operations, including complaint handling, advocacy, facility presence, and volunteer management. Analyze data to inform policies, procedures, and quality improvement strategies for Ombudsman Core Practices. Prepare reports, draft action plans, and make recommendations to leadership based on program performance and outcomes. Support the Designation Services Review (DSR) process and collaborate with state staff to ensure consistent quality standards statewide. Develop tools and resources to evaluate program engagement, training effectiveness, operational efficiency, and consumer satisfaction. Deliver and present training on quality improvement at certification programs and continuing education events. Assist with data quality initiatives, system improvements, and alignment with federal and state best practices. For more in-depth job duties, please click hereto view the position description .

Qualifications

Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science or pre-medicine; 24 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider; 6 mos. exp. in management; 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.

-Or completion of graduate core program in social or behavioral science or medicine-related field; 18 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider; 6 mos. exp. in management; 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
