Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing) Lead the design strategy and execution for Good Housekeeping's digital lifestyle and shopping experiences Craft intuitive, beautiful, and trusted user flows for commerce-forward content such as product guides, testing hubs, and comparison tools Partner with editorial and data teams to blend storytelling and utility in dynamic shopping environments Innovate site architecture and personalized customer journeys across recipes, wellness, and product review content Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments to inform and validate design decisions Create high-fidelity prototypes using Figma; ensure all experiences meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 A/AA) Contribute to and extend a centralized design system tailored for lifestyle commerce features Mentor and collaborate with designers and stakeholders, promoting a culture of creativity, inclusivity, and feedback This position is based in New York City and follows a hybrid in-office schedule. Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
2+ years of experience designing for consumer-facing digital products, ideally in lifestyle, shopping, or publishing A portfolio showcasing impact on both user experience and business outcomes Strong UX/UI skills with mobile-first, responsive design; familiarity with SEO and data-informed design Mastery of Figma and prototyping tools; bonus if experienced with front-end technologies or personalization frameworks Aesthetic sensibility for lifestyle content; understands the rhythm of home, wellness, and product storytelling Collaborative, curious, detail-oriented, and committed to inclusive, accessible design. The base salary for this role is between $101,000 - $122,000.The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
