Job Description
The Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely management of all inventory activities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining stock integrity, reducing discrepancies, and supporting operational efficiency across the supply chain. Working closely with operations and global inventory teams, the Inventory Controller will manage inventory accuracy, reporting, and process alignment with global standards. This position is highly data-driven and requires advanced Excel and Power BI skills, along with ERP system experience (QAD preferred).
Key Accountabilities
Ensure
inventory accuracy
through cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
Monitor and manage
parts availability, slow-moving, and obsolete stock
to support operational efficiency.
Develop and refine
inventory processes aligned with global standards and tools .
Leverage
advanced Excel and Power BI
for data analysis, reporting, and root cause investigations.
Maintain and improve existing
inventory dashboards and reports
, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
Collaborate with
operations and warehouse teams
to ensure inventory needs are met.
Partner with the global inventory team to align with
standardized processes and calculations .
Identify and implement
process improvements
that reduce waste, improve accuracy, and support business objectives
Qualifications: Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
preferred.
Minimum
3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operations
roles.
Strong
data analysis skills
with advanced proficiency in
Excel and Power BI .
Experience with
ERP systems
(QAD required; SAP exposure a plus).
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to conduct
root-cause analysis .
Solid understanding of
inventory principles and practices .
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
