**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description:** We are seeking a diligent and skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to efficiently manage materials within a warehouse or storage facility. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles to move, locate, relocate, and stack products. - Ensure the accuracy and safety of all items handled. - Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance tasks on forklifts and assure they are in safe, working condition. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that aisles are clear and materials are stored properly. - Load and unload shipments, verifying the quantity and quality of materials against documentation. - Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to optimize workflow. - Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, particularly those pertaining to health and safety protocols. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role. - Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and guidelines. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting. **Working Conditions:** - Full-time position with possible overtime. - Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in diverse weather conditions.
