Our Facility in Carson, CA is our Engineered Products Group location, which houses our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, Radiofrequency Departments.

Job Summary Performs complex dimensional, functional and visual inspection and testing of parts, units, equipment and materials to assure compliance with drawings and specifications. Interfaces with customer source inspectors and provides direction to other inspectors. Each job function will be conducted within the quality standards described in the Quality Policy and Safety Rules. Other duties may be assigned. Essential Functions: Schedule and prioritize inspection work activities. Provide direction and assistance to less experienced inspectors and production personnel. Coordinate and host customer source inspections.

Provide feedback to engineering, manufacturing and suppliers as required. Set-up, check and inspect production components and subassemblies for conformance to established standards, specification and tolerances. Perform precision mechanical inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Perform visual and functional inspection of final assemblies. Coordinate and perform AS9102 first article inspections of product. Present FAI packages to customers. Enter inspection results into internal and customer databases. Required Skills and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to read and understand load plans and production drawings. Ability to build electronic assemblies Electromechanical aerospace manufacturing inspection experience preferred Familiarity with aerospace workmanship standards such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for most types of inspection tools Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and mechanical drawings including knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience desired Be able to write and review FAI reports in accordance with AS9102 Good communication skills, ability to be clear and concise. Must have computer skills. Required Experience and Education H.S. Diploma or equivalent. 10 or more years experience in an inspector role. Depending on the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I) level, intermediate (II) level or expert (III) level job and pay scale.
