Plano, TX — Onsite Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using established coding standards. Participate in the complete application lifecycle: concept, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance. Debug issues, resolve bugs, and optimize app performance. Conduct unit testing to ensure application robustness and reliability. Participate in code reviews and promote code quality across the team. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies. Implement best practices to ensure security and performance. Adhere to mobile app data protection standards. Required Experience
6+ years of experience in native mobile app development. Proven expertise in Native Android Development using Kotlin and Java. Strong background in Android libraries with Gradle/Maven. Experience with unit testing and Android test frameworks. Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and third-party integrations. Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD practices. Strong track record of collaborating with designers and UX teams. Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities. Nice-to-Have Experience
Experience in cross-platform frameworks (iOS, Flutter, React Native). Familiarity with Bluetooth protocols and standards (e.g., Digital Key, Core Bluetooth, iAP2). Background in test-driven development and agile workflows. Understanding of Google Play policies. Experience working with remote and distributed teams. Required Skills
Kotlin Java Jetpack Compose Preferred Skills
