Event Designer And Worship Experience Coordinator

Collaborate with the Event team to design and deliver creative and relevant events and worship experiences for campers of all ages. Serve as a member of the Summer Leadership Team at one summer camp location. Provide leadership to the event summer staff team at one summer camp location. Responsibilities include: Serving as a member of the Summer Leadership Team at one WinShape Camps for Girls location. Designing and developing all events, production, media, and worship experiences at the summer camp location, which incorporates the summer theme. Examples of these include worship services and night parties/activities. Hiring, training, developing, and overseeing Event summer staff at the summer camp location. The staff typically includes 4 to 6 direct reports in the summer and a total Event summer staff of 14 to 17 summer staff depending on the specific camp location. Evaluate summer performance and make recommendations for future employment with WinShape Camps. Equipping summer staff to execute all events, production, media, and worship experiences with excellence by providing resources and training prior to and during the summer. Assisting with the creation of event budget lines related to the summer camp location and monitoring expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility. Overseeing the look and feel of camper experiences this includes creating environments that are visually excellent and evaluating the flow of the opening and closing day of camp each week/session. Contributing to camp-wide success as a whole through serving on work teams and serving with other camp support teams when needed. Representing WinShape Camps on occasional recruiting runs to help us fill up our summer staff needs. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of camp experience preferred. This role requires gender-specific tasks during the summer that require female representatives. This includes: Ability to interact with campers within the living quarters. Cabin supervision. Delicate gender specific conversations with campers, staff, and parents. Experience in project management. Demonstrates skills in written and verbal communication, time-management, organization, and multi-tasking. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Willing to relocate to a WinShape Camps for Girls location in the summer. Maintain regular office hours at the WinShape Camps office in Atlanta during the non-camp season and engage in moderate travel throughout the year (10-20%). A self-professing Christ follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis. Must hold or obtain a valid driver's license for the state in which they are hired and have an acceptable driving record.
