Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/13/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, and proficiency with EPIC in an acute care Level 1 trauma setting. Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital cardiac cath lab with 6 suites Daily caseload averages 10 to 15 cases Adult and pediatric patient population; pediatric experience preferred but not required Dedicated cath lab separate from IR and EP Duties include scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating Uses EPIC EMR, as well as PACS and McKesson cardiology systems 10 hour day shifts with rotating weekends and holidays Rotational call requirements with approximately 8 to 9 call shifts per month 30 minute response time required when on call No floating required Responsibilities focus on supporting cardiac cath lab cases, including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating Orientation lasts 3 to 5 days and is unit-specific Scrubs are provided by the hospital Call and holiday coverage are required on a rotating basis A primary charge nurse is available on each shift from 0600-1530 Mandatory call list is utilized if call requirements are not met Requirements Minimum of 1 year recent cath lab experience required ARRT, BLS, and IEMA certifications required Active IL license or proof of application process Experience with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems preferred Cath lab pediatric experience preferred but not required License required if applicable Must be able to pass a comprehensive drug screen Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-616206.
