About the Role

The Company is seeking a Business Unit Controller to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner, responsible for all accounting activities and global financial operations within the business unit. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in GAAP, SEC Reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, as well as manufacturing finance. The Business Unit Controller will maintain effective internal controls, provide financial reviews, and partner with sales and operations management to manage working capital. Additionally, the role involves forecasting business activity, preparing budgets, and driving IT strategy.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in operational accounting leadership. An MBA and CPA are preferred, and experience in a public accounting firm, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing are a plus. The ideal candidate will be a proven team player with excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities also include managing staff, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring the business unit meets its financial commitments. The role demands a self-motivated individual who is ambitious, flexible, and committed to the success of the business.
