Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute in Kansas City, MO is seeking a dedicated BC/BE Epileptologist to join our growing team. This outpatient position focuses on epilepsy care with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative environment. Responsibilities
The physician’s primary focus will be on epilepsy, with opportunities to manage and treat a diverse range of patients Qualified candidates may be considered for leadership roles, including Medical Director On-call responsibilities are shared among the neurologists, providing a balanced lifestyle with support from Advanced Practice Providers Full access to our EMU for comprehensive patient monitoring and EEG interpretation, plus a fully integrated Epic EMR Join during an exciting time as we actively build our epilepsy surgery program; collaborate with functional neurosurgeons to offer advanced surgical options Saint Luke’s Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Medical School; opportunity for academic appointment through UMKC, commensurate with experience The neurology residency program provides 12 residents with educational opportunities across the Neuroscience Institute’s treatment centers Abundance of research opportunities and track record of success; possibility for start-up funding for motivated candidates Saint Luke’s has a competitive employment package including a guaranteed salary, medical/dental/vision & malpractice insurance, retirement plan with employer match, paid time off, and a generous CME allowance Requirements
