Job Title: Maintenance Tech
Location: Auburn WA
Shift: Mon-Fri 630am-3:30pm
Pay: $24-$26 DOE
Position Summary:
The
Maintenance/Handyman/Warehouse
Worker is responsible for performing a wide range of building and equipment maintenance tasks, both preventive and reactive. This includes basic repairs, light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and custodial upkeep. Secondary duties include supporting general warehouse operations as needed to ensure a full workday.

High school diploma or equivalent required Experience:
Prior construction or facility maintenance experience required Warehouse experience is a plus Skills & Abilities:
Dependable with a strong attendance record Good verbal and written communication skills Basic math aptitude and attention to detail Physically able to lift 20–40 lbs regularly Hand-eye coordination, organization, and efficiency Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to stand for long periods and remain focused under pressure Willingness to assist where needed when short-staffed Ability to follow written and verbal instructions On-site attendance and punctuality are essential Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:
Maintain logs of service and repairs Perform basic repairs: patch walls, replace tiles/flooring, fix doors/locks, install door stops Paint interior walls and surfaces as needed Move office furniture and equipment Periodic custodial work: window washing, carpet shampooing, tile stripping/waxing Replace ceiling tiles and repair ceiling fixtures Electrical Work:
Replace bulbs and ballasts Troubleshoot minor electrical issues (e.g., faulty switches, outlets) Forecast and assist with lighting upgrades Plumbing:
Address minor plumbing issues (e.g., leaks, clogs, toilet resets) Clean and mop up minor spills and water leaks HVAC Support:
Replace filters, clean vents, change batteries, and update repair logs Schedule and follow up on HVAC repair work Elevator & Safety Compliance:
Coordinate elevator inspections and maintenance Maintain safety logs, injury reports, and OSHA records Participate in Safety Committee, trainings, and MSDS upkeep Ensure forklift certifications are up-to-date Warehouse Support:
Clean and maintain warehouse floors (scrape, scrub, spot clean) Move product from floors to shelves Monitor warehouse conditions and report hazards or needed repairs Inventory & Supply Duties:
Receive, store, and distribute paper goods and kitchen supplies Maintain and organize the supply closet Order and stock maintenance supplies and equipment as needed Vendor & Equipment Oversight:
Meet with vendors, maintain equipment repair files Monitor and maintain forklifts, battery stations, racking, roll-up doors, etc. Exterior Maintenance:
Address ice/snow removal, roof leaks, skylight repairs, and parking lot issues Coordinate with landscapers and monitor property cleanliness Maintain outdoor signage, flags, garbage cans, and smoke receptacles Recycling & Sustainability:
Partner with internal teams to implement and train on recycling efforts Reduce waste and manage garbage pickup scheduling Security:
Monitor and maintain security cameras Coordinate vendor support for adjustments or repairs
