JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for Citrix and Horizon view Architect for designing, implementing, and supporting Citrix environments, including Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler. VMware Horizon View VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end architecture, performance tuning, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency, automation, and integrations with enterprise infrastructure components to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities: •

Design and Implementation: Design and implement Citrix solutions, including Active Directory environments, Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, CVAD, Citrix Cloud and NetScaler. Define architecture standards, high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies for Horizon deployments Design, implement, and manage VMware Horizon View infrastructure for enterprise VDI environments. Solid understanding of Citrix and VMware Horizon view components Develop and maintain technical schematics, functional and design specifications, installation qualifications, and test plans. Deploy and configure components such as Connection Servers, Security Servers, UAG, Composer (if legacy), and Cloud Pod Architecture. Integrate with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and certificate services. Create and optimize golden images using Windows 10/11, application layering, and profile management tools (e.g., DEM/WEM/UPM/Fslogix). Implement and manage App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM), and Instant Clone technologies. Collaborate with networking, storage, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and performance. Troubleshoot VDI performance, user profile, and login issues using tools like vROps, vRealize Log Insight, and ControlUp. Develop and maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks. Participate in capacity planning, patching, and platform upgrades. utomate tasks using PowerCLI or other scripting tools.



Support and Maintenance: Provide 24/7 support for Citrix environments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues. dminister Citrix NetScaler appliance, NetScaler Gateway policies and configurations, and virtual server load balancing.



Migration and Upgrades: Migrate existing Citrix environments to newer versions and perform upgrades. Migrate existing VMware horizon view environments to newer versions and perform upgrades.



Security and Compliance: Ensure Citrix and Horizon view environments meet security and compliance requirements.



Service Delivery: Develop and maintain service catalogs and service level agreements. Support Citrix Web Interface and StoreFront for remote access and third-party access application virtualization and load testing.



Platform Management: Manage platform-level services such as Windows 7 or remote desktop sessions of Windows 2008/2012 R2 servers.



Technical Leadership: Lead product evaluations and proof of concepts for new technologies. ssist with translating business requirements into technical architectures, designing and implementing the infrastructure.



Customer Engagement: Gather customer requirements, design full EUC solutions (VDI management infrastructure, printing, SSO, anti-virus, app deployment, profile management), and implement the solution at the client site.



Documentation:

Document processes, procedures, and instructions for users and IT personnel. •

Ad-Hoc Projects: Complete assigned ad-hoc projects and tasks. Resolve Tier III escalated Citrix issues.

Required Skills: •

Citrix Technologies: Strong knowledge of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, and other Citrix products. Strong knowledge of VMware Horizon view products.



Microsoft Technologies: Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office.



Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.



Networking: Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.



ITIL: Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.

Qualifications: •

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.



Certifications: Citrix certifications, such as CCA, CCAA, CCEE, or CCIA, are highly desirable.



Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in Citrix administration, engineering, or architecture.
