This is a full-time seasonal position with a variable schedule; the ability to work days and evenings as needed is required; Monday - Friday, and commitment to the entire summer season. Work occurs both indoors and outdoors regularly; handling cleaning products and agents is required. This role involves physical and mental stress; candidates must be prepared to adapt and stay mentally alert at all times. A positive attitude and professional behavior are expected and must be consistently demonstrated in all interactions. CPR/First Aid/AED Certifications or the ability to obtain them within 30 days of employment. Highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. State-specific licensing requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old. At least three (3) months (460 hours) of full-time or equivalent part-time experience with school-age children.
Basic Responsibilities:
Leading a group of campers through their camp experiences. Developing friendships with youth to ensure each child feels connected to the camp community. Completing daily opening and closing procedures, including safety logs. Communicating daily with parents, team members, club members, and the Program Director. Understanding the specific needs of campers and communicating safety or behavioral concerns promptly. Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and good repair of all camp areas used. Benefits of Employment:
