Family Medicine Biller and Coder (End to End) Join to apply for the Family Medicine Biller and Coder (End to End) role at MD Billing . Responsibilities include: Managing the full end-to-end billing and coding process for Family Medicine providers. Claim coding, submission, and follow-up on denied claims. Collaborating with providers and staff to ensure timely billing. Utilizing the EMR system for charge capture and sequencing. Reviewing documentation and coding according to payer and facility guidelines. Handling coding edits and appeals for denied claims. Supporting the billing team with coding expertise. Performing additional duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in family practice billing and coding (preferred). Current certification (CPC, AHIMA, etc.) (preferred). Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and E/M coding guidelines. Experience with LCD, NCD, NCCI edits, and payer guidelines (Medicare, HMO, PPO, etc.). Proficiency with EMR systems (eClinical preferred). Understanding of medical practice revenue cycles and denial management. Ability to analyze documentation and assign appropriate codes. High attention to detail, independent work ethic, and reliable decision-making. High school diploma or GED. Work Environment Office / On-site in Lubbock, TX or remote.
