Job Description
Role: Data Architect
Location: Plano, TX or Houston, TX (Plano preferred)
Work Arrangement: 5 days onsite (local candidates only)
Visa Requirement: W2 only
Must Have Skills:
AWS, Data Integration, API Team: Part of the Data Strategy Team The Data Architect will focus on data movement architecture, including: Designing scalable, secure data movement solutions using APIs, data buses, etc. Participating in defining data contracts, identifying data elements, and establishing agreements. Recommending data movement architectures that ensure data completeness and consistency, with validation in source of record (SOR). Evaluating new and existing technologies against current data architecture standards. Providing technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors. Representing the data architecture team in governance meetings and providing feedback on governance practices. Working with both on-premises and cloud environments, with AWS experience being essential. Performing pros/cons analysis to identify suitable architectural solutions for data movement that are scalable and secure. Extensive experience integrating multiple data sources (from system A to B to C) is highly desirable, especially focusing on data integrations.
