OCH Technologies is looking for a talented and experienced Technical Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and experience with government contracts. This role requires the ability to balance technical leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication while ensuring compliance with government regulations and CMMI Level 3 processes.
Location:
On-site with potential for hybrid remote Egg Harbor Township, NJ Core Responsibilities & Duties: Lead and manage the technical project team throughout the software modernization effort, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and CMMI Level 3 processes. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including government representatives, providing regular updates and managing expectations. Collaborate with technical leads to develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate communication between technical team members and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts as needed. Contribute to proposal writing and identify opportunities for organic growth within the project scope. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the project, recommending innovations when appropriate. Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field. Experience: 10+ years of project management experience, including: 7+ years managing software development projects 5+ years managing government task orders, including data management, system lifecycle documentation, project tracking with Atlassian tools, effort and schedule estimates, customer outreach, SOPs, and maintenance plans. Knowledge of Angular, Java Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Experience developing project management plans, status reports, quality control plans, communication plans, financial reports, and transition activities for IT and web projects. Experience presenting to high-level government stakeholders. Certifications:
PMP, PfMP, PgMP, or equivalent. Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Additional Qualifications: Experience with CMMI Level 3 processes. Familiarity with FAA, aviation, or flight tracking systems. Proposal writing and business development experience. Skills & Abilities: Strong technical understanding of software architecture and development. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of government contracting processes. Risk management skills. Ability to create compelling presentations and reports. Leadership skills to motivate cross-functional teams. About Us:
