About the Smart TV Engineering Team Our team is passionate about building high-performance software for Vizio Smart TVs. We operate at the intersection of UI, middleware, and hardware, collaborating closely to deliver seamless video experiences. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and optimizing solutions that power Walmart’s Smart TV platforms, helping us stay at the forefront of technology and customer satisfaction. Design, develop, and test embedded software for Smart TV platforms Integrate and optimize video control and processing features across device layers Ensure high quality and performance for diverse video streams and codecs Develop unit and system-level tests using BDD frameworks Mentor and train junior engineers What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 7+ years of embedded software development experience Expertise in C/C++ (C++17+) and Linux/RTOS-based systems Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience with video/audio processing, HAL, and BDD frameworks is a plus Additional benefits and salary details are included in the original description.
