Quality Control Inspector Join our dedicated team as a Quality Control Inspector, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that component parts and completed products meet production controls and ISO standards. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will: Conduct final inspections on all switches and part orders prior to shipping. Train production staff on effective processes for quality control. Generate detailed reports documenting all inspection findings. Have the authority to halt non-compliant processes after notifying your Supervisor. Prepare and submit Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any discrepancies. Initiate Customer Improvement Initiatives (CII) for recurring issues. Notify Cell Leader/Manager of any violations of ISO standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process control charts for critical processes. Maintain a safe and clean workspace by adhering to all procedures and regulations. Use resources efficiently while performing your tasks. Contribute to team success by training others in inspection processes. Inspect all work thoroughly before passing it on to the next operation. Document inspection activities by accurately completing production and quality forms. We are looking for individuals who: Have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and skills. Possess 1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Can read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and various diagrams. Have basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Can effectively use measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and multimeters. The physical requirements of the position include: Medium to Heavy Physical Demand Level as classified by the US Dept of Labor. Lifting demands of up to 75 pounds occasionally (with assistance) and 40 pounds frequently. Carrying, pushing, and pulling various weights as needed with assistance for heavier loads. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Continuous hand skills and variable tool usage.
