Quality Inspector – Danbury, CT
AB Electronics is hiring a
full-time Quality Inspector
to join our team onsite in Danbury, CT. This role is key to making sure our circuit board and cable assemblies meet the standards our customers rely on. You'll work closely with production teams, apply your technical knowledge, and bring a detail-focused mindset to every inspection.
What You'll Do
Inspect soldering, PCBs, and cable assemblies for workmanship and compliance
Follow customer specifications, industry standards, and internal procedures to guide inspections
Document inspection results clearly and consistently
Work with production teams to address findings and improve processes
Support a safe, consistent, and quality-driven work environment
What You Bring
Experience with electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and cable assemblies
Ability to read and use process documentation (travelers, routing sheets, component data sheets, work instructions)
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Clear communication skills for sharing inspection results and collaborating with team members
What Will Set You Apart
Certification to IPC-A-610, J-STD, and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620
AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) experience
Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly and/or inspection experience
