Responsibilities:
·
Manage global inventories, forecasting and purchasing recommendations for 55 SKU product line.
·
Plan and coordinate global product deliveries based on customer requirements, including drayage, trans-loading, and warehousing.
·
Quote rates and calculate total shipment and storage costs, factoring in weight, volume, and transit mode/distance.
·
Communicate directly with transportation providers to meet customer handling and delivery needs.
·
Arrange import/export clearances, tariff classifications, and coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
·
Provide shipment status updates to customers and internal teams, ensuring clear and timely communication.
·
Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, CBP, FMC, and other governing agencies.
·
Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies; analyze trends and recommend improvements.
·
Review and validate transportation invoices; schedule and process accurate payments.
·
Manage insurance claim processes when required.
·
Support business expansion by planning and overseeing operational distribution strategies and new 3PL warehouse setups internationally.
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience.
·
At least 5 years of international logistics and import/export experience, including VAT recovery and T1 external transit declarations.
·
CITLS (Certified International Trade Logistics Specialist) certification highly .
·
Strong knowledge of global supply chain best practices and regulatory frameworks (CBP, FMC, PGA, etc.).
·
Proven experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations, transportation management, and customer returns.
·
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and reporting capabilities.
· Ability to travel internationally 2-3 weeks per year to establish and inspect 3PL warehouse operations and verify inventory.
