Description:
Lamjen, a CNC Machining Facility in Erie, PA, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Full Time Quality Control Technician. This position requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing support and feedback to the Manufacturing and Quality Departments. Must have CMM experience.
* Perform Product Inspection of Precision Machined Components and Assemblies * Communicate with Management and Team Members on Status of Inspection * Work closely with Team Members to provide applicable support and achieve work goals * Responsible for Receiving, First Piece and Final Inspection of Product utilizing Hand-Held and Automated Measurement Equipment * Effectively apply Advanced Math Skills and GD&T Methodology to Measurement Plans * Calibration of in-house Measurement Equipment * Identification and control of Non-Conforming Material * Enter and record data using applicable quality management system forms * Document control (preparation, scanning and filing)
Requirements:
* Manufacturing Inspection Experience required with working knowledge of various inspection equipment and proficiency in its use * Working knowledge of CMM Programming and Operation (PCDMIS preferred) * Ability to Interpret Product Drawings and Specifications * Proficiency in Mathematics * Familiarity with GD&T applications * Strong computer skills and proficiency with Word, Excel and Email applications * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with working within an ISO9001/AS9100 environment a plus * 1 Year Inspection experience * Ability to read and understand blueprints * Ability to measure with hand tools * Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds * CMM experience * Crane experience * Forklift experience
Compensation details: 20-23 Hourly Wage
