$5,000 Sign On Available Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a vital caregiver for residents in our long-term care facility. In this role, you will provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include: Delivering age-appropriate care according to care plans. Assisting residents with personal care such as bathing, toileting, and grooming. Monitoring and recording vital signs. Supporting residents with mobility, including transfers and exercises. Ensuring a positive dining experience by aiding residents during meals. Communicating changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff. Providing housekeeping and laundry assistance to maintain clean living environments. Encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational activities. As a member of the nursing team, your commitment to infection prevention and control policies along with proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is crucial. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum age of 16. Previous experience in long-term care is a plus. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required, or must be obtained within four months of employment. Annual completion of continuing education (minimum of 12 hours) and competency testing is necessary. This position may require you to have a valid driver’s license and meet medical qualifications for driving, depending on facility needs.
