We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused

Shipping Gate Coordinator

to become an integral part of our team. As the first point of contact at the gate, you will be essential in ensuring accurate documentation, seamless communication with customers, and proper inspection logging of trailers, chassis, and containers entering or exiting the facility. Key Responsibilities: Accurately inspect and document the condition of trailers, chassis, and containers.

Timely update the system with detailed inspection information.

Professionally handle inbound customer calls, addressing inquiries and concerns.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.

Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company quality standards.

Coordinate with yard personnel and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.

Promptly report any equipment issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

Qualifications: Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or yard operations is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Willingness to work in an office setting with extended periods indoors. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Open availability required (all shifts, weekends, and holidays). Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening. The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable, you will need to pass a drug screen as part of the hiring process.
