The Multi Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is excited to welcome a
Quality Assurance Specialist
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, ensuring the provision of comprehensive IT and support services essential for mission success while upholding Department of Defense (DoD) standards and regulations. Your main objective will be to guarantee that the design, development, and deployment of systems, hardware, and components meet rigorous quality standards and support the internal quality process. Key Responsibilities: Partner with the Program Manager to establish effective strategies, goals, roles, responsibilities, and information needs for quality assurance surveillance. Act as the lead for quality assurance planning, work product reviews, and conducting quality audits. Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP). Support Quality Management Reviews, reporting on the program's quality achievements and progress towards objectives to senior management. Update the Tailored Process Baseline (TPB) for the program as necessary. Review program plans and related documentation to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Conduct quality audits in alignment with the audit schedule and Leidos policies; report findings to program leaders. Create corrective action requests for audit deficiencies and maintain the Common Audit Database (CAD) ensuring timely updates and resolutions. Oversee the formulation, documentation, and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts in line with DoD standards and regulations. Verify compliance with Department of Defense Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) by meticulously testing system performance, functionality, and security. Identify potential risks and proactively collaborate with teams to manage them, ensuring adherence to appropriate Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI) levels and quality standards. Ensure solutions meet CMMI criteria and DoD processes throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Regularly assess software development and maintenance processes for compliance with DoD and CMMI standards. Evaluate software, hardware, and system performance against established metrics and DoD compliance mandates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all QA activities contribute to the overall success of the program, maintaining high quality standards in the DoD context. Generate comprehensive test reports, including defect status and resolution tracking, providing updates to DoD leaders. Ensure that security standards and regulations are upheld throughout testing and service delivery. Manage the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the program. Create and lead the execution of Quality Assurance Plans (QAP). Apply audit practices for internal processes and deliverables to uphold compliance. Ensure adherence to Performance Work Statement (PWS), SLAs/SLOs, EENG, and ISO standards (particularly 9001:2015) relevant to the program. Develop, update, and adopt a Tailored Process Baseline (TPB) for the program as needed. Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship with a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI clearance prior to starting the role. Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of professional experience, or a Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience. Additional relevant experience can substitute for academic qualifications. Thorough understanding of DoD compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA, RMF, DISA STIGs) and security protocols. Familiarity with SLAs and SLOs concerning managed services and DoD programs. Experience conducting testing in a CMMI-compliant environment. Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management processes. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of DoD security frameworks, including NIST 800-53 and DISA STIG guidelines. Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its application in DoD software development and testing. Familiarity with ISO 24k and 27k standards. Knowledge of cloud environments and testing on DoD-approved platforms (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure for Government).
