Your Role: As a Heavy Equipment Operator, your primary responsibilities will include operating a log crane, chipper/debarker, and other mobile equipment at our wood pellet manufacturing facility. Additionally, you will be involved in the maintenance of equipment and managing administrative tasks to support Wood Yard operations. Day-to-Day Duties: Operate and maintain equipment, including log crane, wheel loaders, knuckleboom, skid steer, and man lift. Cross-train on all applicable heavy equipment operation as required. Effectively troubleshoot and perform routine or preventative maintenance. Perform routine administrative tasks and maintain accurate inventory and production reports using checklists. Maintain a clean and safe work area by performing housekeeping duties as needed. Who You Are: Experience in wood/fiber procurement or the forest industry is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 2 years of experience operating industrial equipment. Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision. Computer literate, capable of handling tasks such as email and document review.
