Job Title: Estimator Construction & Drainage
Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to £50,000 plus package
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for groundworks, drainage, and civil engineering projects
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
Conduct site visits to gather data and assess conditions
Work closely with project managers and engineers to align estimates with delivery plans
Monitor market trends and pricing to maintain competitiveness
Support post-tender negotiations and value engineering
Maintain and update estimating tools and databases
Requirements:
Proven Estimator experience in construction or drainage
Strong understanding of UK construction methods and regulations
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders independently
Full UK driving licence ()Desirable Qualifications:
HNC/HND or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
Membership of RICS, CIOB, or similar professional bodiesWhat You'll Get:
