At US Foods , one of the largest food distributors, we promote from within and provide excellent training programs focusing on continuous improvement. Main Responsibilities Safely and accurately select customer orders and build pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards. Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks. Carefully move products from racks to pallets using order selecting software. Validate correct product selection ensuring it is damage-free. Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders. Collaborate to maintain a clean workspace by clearing aisles and managing pallet jacks. Physical Requirements Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures from -5 to over 100 degrees. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repeatedly; expected to move over 1,000 cases of product each shift. What You Bring to the Team Proficient in reading and communicating in English for training and safety purposes. Able to work 8+ hour night shifts; availability on weekends and holidays may be required. Recent experience in physically demanding roles preferred, such as sports, fitness, construction, etc. Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse/distribution center a plus. Familiarity with operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment preferred.
