Position Overview:
As an Assembly Technician at Utilimaster, you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality truck bodies and components, contributing to our production goals while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Your Responsibilities:
Use hand and power tools to assemble or install truck body and van components effectively.
Engage in rotating workstations and promote a collaborative team-based environment.
Adhere to work orders and safety guidelines to achieve performance and quality targets.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in alignment with 5S/Lean initiatives.
Assist with material handling and support other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications for Success:
High School Diploma or GED is required; a valid driver's license is necessary.
A minimum of 12 months of manufacturing experience is preferred, ideally in the automotive/RV/boat sector.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and reaching.
Proficient in using air/power tools and reading tape measures accurately to 1/16".
Additional Information:
You will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Strong attendance, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential attributes for this role.
