Our technology stack features Snowflake as our primary Data Warehouse, complemented by dbt, AWS, GCP, and other innovative tools that empower our data capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and upkeep of scalable dbt models, emphasizing modularity and efficiency. Utilize Kimball-style dimensional modeling techniques (like star schema and slowly changing dimensions) for optimal data structuring for analysis and reporting. Analyze, explore, and validate data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of dbt models. Implement automated dbt tests to uphold data quality, including checks for anomalies and integrity. Investigate and resolve data anomalies and pipeline issues, collaborating with teams for quick resolutions. Work closely with data analysts to create reliable reporting models that meet business requirements. Ensure data availability and consistency for analytics teams using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Google Analytics. Participate in code reviews to maintain the quality of dbt models and pipeline code. Monitor and enhance data pipeline performance using AWS tools such as Lambda and Kinesis. Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data integrity and compliance. Qualifications

4+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Extensive experience with dbt for building and maintaining data models. Strong knowledge of data quality best practices and validation techniques. Proficient in building scalable data warehouses using Snowflake. Expert in Kimball-style dimensional modeling. Strong SQL skills for querying and data validation. Proficient in Python for scripting and automation. Familiar with AWS cloud tools and cloud-based data pipelines. Understanding of web analytics data from tools like Google Analytics. Experience with real-time data streams and resolving pipeline issues. Compensation for this role ranges from $99,000 to $165,000 annually, reflecting the candidate's skills and experience. This position may also qualify for additional compensation, including incentive programs.
