We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products.Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8-hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime ** SHIFT: 5AM-1:30PM, M-F . Occasionally Saturdays if needed.Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of QC methods
Reads blueprints to analyze potential failures and determine potential solutions in real time.
Provides feedback to extrusion press operators on any out of specification material being processed.
Provides feedback to the Production & QA Manager on any visual and/or dimensional issues.
Complete First Article Inspection reports on all extruded orders for the day
Submit detailed reports to Die Correction department on any non-conforming product for that day.
Basic Qualifications:
Intermediate GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading
Must have experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, protractor, square, straight edge, and optical comparator experience ()
Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal skills when communicating with other team members.
Self-starter and Ability work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
Willingness to perform various tasks as assigned.
High school diploma or GED
Able to lift 25 lbs.
