As a CDL A Car Hauler Driver, you'll be instrumental in transporting our extensive vehicle inventory across our expansive logistics network. You'll embody CarMax's commitment to integrity and safety while enjoying various benefits and a supportive work environment.

Your Key Responsibilities
Safely load, secure, transport, and offload CarMax vehicles using a company-assigned car hauler between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs.
Ensure timely and accurate vehicle deliveries to enhance inventory movement and maintain customer satisfaction.
Operate and maintain your truck and trailer with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cleanliness.
Adhere to all DOT/FMCSA regulations and CarMax policies, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as hours-of-service requirements.
Represent CarMax in a professional manner with vendors, store associates, and the general public.
Required Qualifications
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
At least 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience. Military driving experience is also considered.
A clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years.
The ability to meet DOT & FMCSA requirements.
Physical capability to lift heavy objects and winch vehicles during loading.
Experience operating a 10-speed transmission efficiently.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills.
