Volunteers aged 16 and older are needed to help direct traffic, collect donations, and give information to attendees at the Head of the Housatonic Regatta on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12. This is an important fundraiser for our organization and we need your help! Most volunteers will be directing traffic through the parking garages at 2 Corporate Drive and directing attendees to the shuttles that will take them from the parking area to the event. Individual volunteers and groups are welcome! This opportunity takes place outside (rain or shine) and volunteers will be standing for the duration of their shift(s). There are three, 3-hour volunteer shifts available: 6:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m. 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. 12:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. To sign up to volunteer please go to our website, www.habitatgnh.org, and click on the VolunteerUp link at the bottom of the page. You will create a volunteer profile (this only takes two minutes!) and then sign up for your desired shift(s) on the calendar page. For more information or for assistance signing up please contact Allison Mangles, Director of Family Services and Volunteer Engagement, at amangles@habitatgnh.org or (203) 785-0794 ext. 110. 4 shifts available: Saturday October 11, 2025 - 06:00 to 09:00 EST Saturday October 11, 2025 - 09:00 to 12:00 EST Sunday October 12, 2025 - 06:00 to 09:00 EST Sunday October 12, 2025 - 09:00 to 12:00 EST
