Major Duties (Job Description)
You will provide Human Resources advisory services in the area of Employee Relations.
You will provide advice and assistance in the areas of discipline, adverse actions, grievances, employee counseling, and related functions including appropriate options for proper resolution of conflicts or problems.
You will do extensive probing and analysis to identify obscure or underlining causes of misconduct and/or poor performance.
You will research facts and legal precedents and defines legal and factual parameters/issues of cases.
You will Provides advice and assistance to legal representatives of management on the technical aspects of personnel administration during formal hearings, grievances and appeals.
Qualification Summary
NO-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band NO-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations (ER) laws, rules, regulations, and procedures covering personnel actions (such as discipline, adverse actions, grievances, etc.); applying procedures in third party hearing; conducting analytical and problem solving procedures; AND providing advice and guidance to customers. NO-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band NO-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations (ER) laws, rules, regulations, and procedures covering personnel actions (such as discipline, adverse actions, grievances, etc.) to include fact finding, analytical and problem solving; providing advice and guidance to customers; AND preparing case files and documents. Compensation: $69,809-$131,610 per year
