Description SAP Finance Solutions Architect Hybrid Remote - periodic travel to Newark, DE Must reside or be willing to relocate to TX, IL, NJ, OH, DE, MD, PA, VA, NC, GA, FL Your role in our success: Join our dynamic team as an experienced SAP Finance Solutions Architect specializing in the Utilities industry. You will lead the design, implementation, and support of comprehensive finance processes within our SAP ecosystem, focusing on SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) and its seamless integration with essential systems such as Utilities International, PowerPlan, and BlackLine. We are looking for a candidate with in-depth knowledge of FP&A, FERC accounting, allocation setup, and SAP IS-U (Utilities) integration. What you'll be working on: Design and implement innovative SAP Finance solutions that meet business goals and adhere to industry best practices. Configure and enhance SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and COPA. Establish and maintain FERC accounting frameworks, allocations, and reporting to ensure compliance. Lead SAP Finance workstreams in significant transformation initiatives, including CIS and Billing Systems. Create and update the SAP Finance architecture roadmap, maintaining scalability and compliance. Coordinate integration activities between SAP Finance and various edge systems such as Utilities International, PowerPlan, and other financial applications. Comprehend and manage financial reporting for month-end closing, SEC filings, and regulatory compliance. Facilitate complex and interactive solutioning workshops with business and IT stakeholders. Guide teams through the design and deployment of WRICEF (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms). Assist during post-go-live phases, addressing issues and fostering continuous improvement. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated data flow across all systems. Contribute to thought leadership via articles, white papers, and speaking engagements. Possess strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and edge system integrations. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of FP&A processes and FERC accounting within SAP. Showcase proven experience in the Utilities sector, including compliance with regulatory requirements. Have hands-on experience with document splitting, cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis (COPA). Foster familiarity with Central Finance, SAP IS-U (Utilities), including CIS, Billing, and meter-to-cash processes. Understand integration points with other SAP modules. Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Lead cross-functional teams and manage project timelines effectively. Manage integrations with systems like PowerPlan, BlackLine, and Utilities International. Who you are: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting (with strong IT background) or a related field. Experience: 10+ years in SAP Finance (FICO) with a minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementations. Possess a regular driver's license. Knowledge/certification of S/4HANA, Scrum Master, Agile Coach is a plus. PMP or comparable certification. ITIL certification for Service Delivery Management. Where you'll be working...
