South Project is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young moms through mentorship, resources, and community support. We are looking for a volunteer Event Coordinator to by assisting to plan and organize in-person events that engage community members, raise awareness, and further the organization’s mission. What You'll Do: Assist in planning and coordinating events such as fundraisers, workshops, and community gatherings. Manage event logistics, including scheduling, registration, and follow-up communications. Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop event agendas, speakers, and promotional strategies. Create event materials such as digital flyers, invitations, and social media posts. Serve as a point of contact for event participants, providing clear instructions and timely communication. Collect feedback from attendees and assist with event evaluation reports. Promote accessibility and inclusivity in all events. Time Commitment: Flexible, remote role Estimated 3-5 hours per week What we're looking for: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
