This essential role is key to our retail success. As a Customer Service Expert, you will collaborate closely with our wholesale and retail customers to assess their needs, provide answers to their inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and offer tailored recommendations. You will be dedicated to promptly addressing customer concerns to ensure satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and upholding our store's quality and visual standards. Achieving outstanding customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales targets is a primary responsibility of this position. This role requires interaction with customers, including minors, as well as access to cash, payment methods, electronic devices, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuable items, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to ensure the safety and security of our customers, staff, and the business. Key Responsibilities: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service. Assist customers both in person and over the phone, identifying their needs and presenting appropriate products. Build trustworthy relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately process sales transactions according to our policies. Meet and exceed sales goals consistently. Maintain organized work order files and product formulas. Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse. Tint and mix products according to customer specifications. Stock shelves and create visually appealing displays. Clean store equipment as required. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. Help maintain the in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas. Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss options with customers. Follow inventory control procedures. Propose ideas to enhance sales. Minimum Requirements: At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. If internal, must have at least a meets expectations rating on the most recent performance appraisal. Completion of required HR Cloud eLearning courses if internal. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. One year of experience in retail or customer service. Experience in selling paint and related products. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in more than one language, preferably Spanish.
