Shift Hours:
Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm This position is located onsite at our facility in Lockbourne, OH. Please note that this role does not offer remote or hybrid work options. As part of Cencora's distribution services operating through our AmerisourceBergen business, you will work under moderate supervision of the Computer Operations Manager. The Computer Operations Specialist will monitor all computer systems, jobs, and connected devices, ensuring successful daily warehouse operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and wave special request orders, run order reports, and manage the printing, sorting, and distribution of customer document packets. Exhibit flexibility and commitment to the team by adjusting schedules and covering additional shifts as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations. Troubleshoot and manage production printer issues while maintaining their performance. Oversee incoming email, executing necessary actions, conducting research, and responding effectively to requests. Create an organized system for sorting, alphabetizing, and scanning receiving POs and PODs. Escalate system-related issues impacting operations to leadership as necessary. Troubleshoot RF unit issues and repair problems related to warehouse and front office printers and PCs. Restock paper and stickers on a daily basis, lifting up to 50 lbs. Assist with special projects as required. Perform regular preventative maintenance on printers, including cleaning and vacuuming. Monitor supplies (paper, stickers, labels, toner) and notify the responsible party when orders need to be placed. Maintain a clean, organized work area to prevent work-related injuries and keep the environment free of obstructions. Carry out additional duties as assigned. Experience and Education: Candidate should possess training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field, typically acquired through a two-year Associate's Degree program, technical vocational training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. One to two years of directly related and progressively responsible experience is required. Skills and Abilities: Effective oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal abilities. Capability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Aptitude for implementing processes that support satisfactory audit practices. Proficient computer skills to operate company systems and programs, including knowledge of AS400, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of data processing equipment and peripheral devices such as printers, copiers, handheld devices, and order entry units.
