Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation.
This is a contract/hire opportunity with a world leading manufacturer of RF and microwave components located in Holbrook NY area.
Job Summary:
Perform visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections of electronic components and assemblies using appropriate inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, magnifiers, microscopes).
Read and interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, and inspection criteria.
Document inspection results clearly and accurately, including non-conformances and deviations.
Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
Ensure that workmanship standards (such as IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001), and safety procedures are followed.
