The
Credit Manager - Traffic & PMC
is responsible for credit management and the development and implementation of credit strategies for PPG's Traffic and PMC business. You will report to the Director of Credit, Americas and work a hybrid schedule based at PPG headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. Employees are expected to work from the office at least three days a week. The Credit Manager works with the business to support increased sales and cash flow while minimizing bad debt risk through extensive relationships with the business and the knowledge of our customers, their industries, and business strategic goals. Your role will involve frequent collaboration and negotiations with the business Regional/Global Finance Director, General Manager, Sales Management, and Customer Service teams. Key Responsibilities Assess business unit portfolio credit risk and development of credit and collection strategies to minimize risk while balancing commercial needs.
Manage corporate credit internal controls and collection strategies.
Assess bad debt risk as part of the SBU analysis of the Allowance for Doubtful Accounts.
Management and development of the (Traffic & PMC) Credit team responsible for day-to-day credit analysis and collections.
Integration of new acquisitions including compliance with PPG Corporate Credit Policies and the conversion to PPG systems.
Reporting of credit metrics and cash flow goals and monthly results for the business
Management of projects related to each business unit (ie S4 integration).
Lead and mentor one direct report.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field.
5+ years of experience in a similar position.
Prior experience in a credit role is preferred but not required.
Proven ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization.
Proficiency with MS Suite and utilizing CRM database.
Travel will be minimal (up to 15%).
