$5,000 available Job Summary As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play an essential role in caring for residents in long-term care as part of our dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include: Providing compassionate, resident-centered care and daily living assistance under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN). Administering age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents as outlined in their care plans. Supporting residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, while ensuring their comfort and dignity. Assisting with food preparation and dining services to enhance residents' dining experiences. Documenting resident interactions and any changes in their condition, reporting pertinent information to the nursing staff. Participating in wellness and recreational programs while encouraging resident engagement. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in living areas and assisting with laundry services as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory. Minimum age of 16 required. Prior experience in long-term care is a plus. Must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Nursing or be enrolled in a program to obtain certification within four months of employment. Commitment to complete annual competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education. For certain states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be necessary.
