Quality Inspector

Pay:
Starting at $18.00 per hour plus 10%-night shift premium, Based on experience
Hours : 3:00pm-11:30pm
Responsibilities
Assist operators and fellow inspectors with questions pertaining to quality standards.
Verification and recording of first off, final, and receiving inspections.
Visual product analysis and audits.
Continuously audits work areas for identification of the acceptable/rejection of product within the process.
Advise Production Supervisors, Quality Engineers, and Quality Manager of any observed nonconformities.
Document nonconformities in Quality Software
On the job training to machine operators and inspector/packers in documentation requirements, instrumentation awareness, and on-going quality defect training.
Document statistical process control (SPC) readings.
Maintaining lot control traceability documentation during manufacturing process.
Operates and maintains all measurement equipment that pertains to quality inspections.
Verifying all incoming documentation to conform to specification.
Additional responsibilities and projects may be assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualifications and Experience One-year certificate from college or technical school; minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. experience and/or training with mechanical and calibration inspection, understanding of SPC, GD&T, measuring and test equipment and statistical analysis
