As one of the largest food distributors, US Foods is committed to promoting from within with outstanding training programs and a focus on continuous improvement. Main Responsibilities: Safely and accurately select customer orders, building and wrapping pallets to meet daily productivity and accuracy standards. Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate an electric pallet safely. Carefully move products from racks to pallets using order selecting software and equipment. Validate that selected products are correct and undamaged. Efficiently deliver products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders. Collaborate with team members to clear aisles of debris and neatly return empty pallets to their designated areas. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment, ranging from -5 degrees to above 100 degrees. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. repetitively—moving over 1,000 cases per shift. What You Bring: Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English to attend training sessions, engage in conversations, understand safety protocols, read labels, and enter necessary information. Availability for 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday, with potential weekend and holiday shifts as needed. Recent experience (within the last 6 months) in physically demanding roles preferred, such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, or construction. Previous experience in selecting large-scale orders within a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred. Experience operating a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment is a plus.
