is immediately hiring experienced

Naval/Commercial Pipe Welders

for a project located in or around

South

Newport News, VA.

This is a first shift opportunity and

the pay rate is up to $60/hour

based on experience and skill level. If you are a Pipe Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

Pipe welding with various filler metals

Utilize various welding processes throughout all phases of ship construction

Tak welding

Fillet Welding

Full penetration welding

Welding on steel foundations, structural & pipe joints

Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Must have 5+ years pipe welding experience

Must have 5+ years commercial/naval experience

Ability to fuse inserts & welds using the SMAW shielded metal arc process

Ability to fuse inserts & weld carbon steel, stainless steel & copper nickel pipe using various welding processes

Ability to work in a fast pace, physically demanding environment

Must pass vision & various welding test
