We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector Lead to join our team in San Fernando, CA. This role oversees daily inspection activities, ensures compliance with product specifications, and supports continuous improvement in quality processes. Inspection activities range from mechanical inspection of stamping and machine shop parts to electrical testing of automotive and aerospace harnesses.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Plan and schedule In-process and Final Inspection assignments.

· Train and mentor inspection staff; maintain accurate training records.

· Perform mechanical and electrical inspections of components, sub-assemblies, and final products.

· Inspect labeling for accuracy, placement, and document correlation.

· Identify and control non-conforming materials per company procedures.

· Record inspection data in logs, forms, and digital systems.

· Assist in writing and maintaining inspection procedures, work instructions, and checklists.

· Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to update inspection criteria based on drawings and specs.

· Report quality issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.

· Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company policies.

Job Requirements:

· Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

· Ability to use electrical equipment such as multi-meters and test equipment and mechanical measuring devices.

· Strong understanding of inspection documentation and quality systems.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to manage and train others.

· Familiarity with inspection databases, forms, and electronic record keeping associated with AS9100 requirements

· Will maintain calibration records

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma – Required

· Minimum 3 years Inspecting dimensional requirements such as stamped/sheet metal or machined parts and dimensional requirements of electrical harnesses or electrical chassis’

· Minimum of 4 years of duties which require inspecting of incoming items and / or outside processing and outgoing products.

· 4 years of producing all AS9100 F.A.I reports and creating bubble prints 4 years of reading blueprints

· Solid verbal and written skills and Good Attendance and completing tasks in a timely manner

· Ability to Analyze quality trends - and ensure Non-Conforming Material and processes are controlled

· Experience with maintain Calibration records

· Experience with training and supervising staff.
