As a
Senior Designer , you will provide advanced technical design support and lead the development of detailed HVAC and plumbing system drawings. You will serve as a technical resource within the firm, producing accurate and efficient construction documents while mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Revit and related software, and demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership & Technical Expertise
Develop and oversee coordinated, code-compliant HVAC and plumbing design drawings.
Break down complex systems into understandable components for project teams.
Perform facility assessments, site verifications, and quality assurance reviews.
Excel in areas of technical expertise while fostering innovation and best practices.
Project Documentation & Coordination
Create and review complete drawing sets in Revit and AutoCAD, including model setup, sheet creation, and coordination with other disciplines.
Ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable codes.
Utilize industry and company software (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, COMcheck, Trane Trace700, Outlook, Excel, Word, LiquidPlanner) to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain organized project files and records throughout design and construction phases.
Mentorship & Team Engagement
Provide guidance and oversight to junior designers to support their technical development.
Model professionalism, reliability, and accountability within project teams.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, project partners, and other disciplines.
Professional Engagement
Maintain professional appearance, consistent work habits, and a collaborative team approach.
Contribute positively to the firm’s culture through technical excellence and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Associate’s degree in Mechanical Design or similar
8+ years of relevant mechanical design and project management experience
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is
$95,000–$120,000+,
