To support our growth and strategic objectives, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Kinaxis Technical Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of system and supply chain experience. While we prefer experience with Kinaxis Maestro, we will also consider other application experience such as Logility, Demantra, SAP APO, and others. This key role will be responsible for integration design and configuration, leading/participating in customer implementations, mentoring internal Kinaxis resources, and driving practice growth. The successful candidate will be a key factor for our Kinaxis practice and participate in our bonus program. The position is based in North Canton, Ohio, with remote work options available.
• Participate in deep-dive customer business requirements discovery sessions and develop integration requirements specifications.
• Perform integration configuration, mapping, loading, transforming, and validating data required to support our customers’ unique system landscapes.
• Assist data management and integration-related activities, including validation and testing of the solutions.
• Learn to configure the Maestro integration platform.
• Support deployment workshops to help customers achieve immediate value from their investment.
• Perform functional design and configuration support for customer implementations with Kinaxis Maestro or another leading Supply Chain Planning application.
• Create functional and technical design documents.
• Work with internal Scott Sheldon and customer team members on configuration, testing, training, and integration activities.
• Work with IT resources to identify data requirements that support the solution design.
• Support practice growth and development of internal team resources.
• Participate in lead activities providing detailed Kinaxis capabilities.
• Provide project input such as best practices, risks and mitigation techniques, culture change, S&OP, effective communications, and data integration.
• Understand customer supply chain planning processes and how they will translate to future state.
• Participate in activities to drive the Scott Sheldon brand and name recognition.
Skill Set Requirements
• Experience with ETL tools such as Talend or similar.
• Database-level experience extracting data from enterprise-class ERP systems including SAP/APO, Oracle, and JDE.
• Technical skills such as SQL, R, JavaScript, Python
. • Experience with connection functionality to SAP (through BAPI/RFC), databases, files, web, SOAP.
• Understanding of the software deployment life cycle, including business requirements definition, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user training, and deployment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, time management, and customer relationship skills.
• Minimum of 3 successful Supply Chain Planning software implementations with Kinaxis Maestro or another leading Supply Chain Planning application.
• 3–5 years of consulting experience.
• Experience with Kinaxis’ implementation methodologies and standards.
• Ability to transform business requirements and Maestro functional requirements into technical requirements.
• Basic understanding of leading Supply Chain concepts such as Digital Twin, Near Shoring, Dual Supply, Resiliency, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams.
• Independent thinker and self-starter.
• Project management skills to perform functions such as timeline development, status reporting, action items, resolution, and budget tracking.
• Excellent communication skills across multiple levels of an organization.
• Experience in Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Consumer Products, and Industrial Manufacturing industries a plus.
