Your Role - Key Responsibilities:
Safely load, secure, transport, and offload CarMax vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs using a company-assigned car hauler.
Ensure timely delivery of vehicles to enhance inventory movement and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by operating equipment with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements and CarMax policies, including thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Professionally represent CarMax while engaging with vendors, store associates, and the public.

As a Fleet Driver at CarMax, you will be a part of a team driving up standards in the logistics network. Your contributions will ensure that the right vehicles reach the right places on time, creating a valued experience for our customers. This role is not just about driving; it is about embodying the values of trust, teamwork, and integrity.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid state-issued Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Minimum of 2 years Class A CDL driving experience required. Military driving experience may be considered.
If you're a current CarMax associate, you may apply with non-Class A CMV driving experience, provided you have a clean safety record.
Clean driving record, free of serious violations in the last three years.
Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualification standards.
Ability to lift heavy objects and winch vehicles during loading.
Experience operating a 10-speed transmission is preferred.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong communication skills.
