We are seeking a
Network Operations Center (NOC) Administrator
who will be responsible for monitoring tools and ensuring the availability of the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) NOC. This role plays a vital part in transforming the existing Secure Web Services (SWS) environment to support the Department of Defense and intelligence communities, focusing on commercial cloud migration and modernizing legacy systems. Key Responsibilities: Monitor network performance to ensure optimal availability for all users, executing routine maintenance as needed. Identify potential risks within the network and create strategies to mitigate them. Perform regular data backups and manage disaster recovery operations. Administer and maintain computer networks, including hardware, systems software, application software, and configurations. Plan and implement network security measures to protect data and equipment. Conduct routine network start-up and shutdown procedures while maintaining accurate control records. Evaluate user requests for network upgrades to assess impacts and provide guidance on technical solutions. Ensure efficient service delivery utilizing industry standards and repeatable processes. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, plus 8-12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Possession of an IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP). Active DOD TS/SCI security clearance, with eligibility for CI Polygraph. Willingness to work rotating shifts, available from 0600-1400 or 1200-2000. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting IT business systems. Proficient in configuring Cisco switches and routers, with knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), spanning tree, VLAN configurations, and firewall troubleshooting. Familiarity with AWS Cloud services. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with DISA and its support of mission partners. TS/SCI with CI Polygraph preferred. $89,700.00 - $162,150.00. The pay range is a guideline and actual compensation will depend on roles, qualifications, and market influences.
