Breakfast Attendant

We're looking for a breakfast attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable breakfast experience. You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked. Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. Responsibilities: • Maintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as needed • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service • Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations • Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary • Fully understands and complies with all food safety requirements • Sets up breakfast area before guests begin to arrive; displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner according to brand standards/requirements • Efficiently replenishes buffet with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed • Maintains cleanliness of the buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying the food area as necessary • Properly dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins, and/or cups as necessary • May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed • Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner; follow up to ensure guest satisfaction • Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, breaks, and meal periods in compliance with standards • Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code • Performs any other duties as requested by the supervisor Qualifications: • Food service industry experience is highly desired • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers Compensation: $14 - $16.50 hourly
