We're looking for a breakfast attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable breakfast experience. You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked. Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about customer service and has experience working in a food service role. Responsibilities: • Maintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as needed • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service • Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations • Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary • Fully understands and complies with all food safety requirements • Sets up breakfast area before guests begin to arrive; displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner according to brand standards/requirements • Efficiently replenishes buffet with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed • Maintains cleanliness of the buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying the food area as necessary • Properly dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins, and/or cups as necessary • May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed • Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner; follow up to ensure guest satisfaction • Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, breaks, and meal periods in compliance with standards • Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code • Performs any other duties as requested by the supervisor Qualifications: • Food service industry experience is highly desired • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers Compensation: $14 - $16.50 hourly
